Mosby's Marauders aka Willie and the Yank (8 January 1967)

Appearing as Cpl. Henry Jenkins

First broadcast on The Wonderful World of Disney on the NBC television network as a two-part drama on two consecutive Sundays (8 and 16 January 1967) under the title Willie and the Yank, this film was released in theaters later that year as Mosby's Marauders.

Synopsis by curator@jmdigitalscrapbook.com:

This film recounts the exploits of the infamous John Mosby, one of a number of Confederate commanders who used terrorist and bushwhacking tactics to further the South's cause during the American Civil War. Caught in the middle is teenaged Confederate volunteer, Willie (Kurt Russell), his older sister, Oralee (Peggy Lipton) and her fiance, Union Corporal Henry Jenkins (James MacArthur). The story is one of love and loyalty, tested by opposing ideals and affiliations. In the end, each must choose between whom to love and whom to follow. Surprisingly accurate and faithful to the historical record, the tale includes a vivid account of the well-known capture of a Union general asleep in his bed by Mosby's troops.
