"Whirlwind Jet-Set Romance for 'Hawaii Five-O' Star"

Dashing James MacArthur of TV's Hawaii Five-O is having the time of his life enjoying a whirlwind jet-set romance with a gorgeous young publicity girl.

"It's definitely a romance," confirmed the curly-haired actor.

"We met just a month ago and are getting on famously."

MacArthur, 41, was introduced to the 23-year-old Michelle Felice by her boss. "We hit it off from the first moment," he happily revealed.

Since then, he's flown from Honolulu to Los Angeles to be with her and taken her to Los Vegas for a weekend. When The Enquirer spoke with the couple, they were about to leave for a tour of Asia.

"I'm going over there for a while, and couldn't face the idea of not seeing Michelle," explained MacArthur, who recently announced that he's leaving his hit TV series after 11 years. "So I asked her to come along."

"I love to travel to exciting new places, and it seems that at last I may have found someone who loves the great outdoors as much as I do."

Bubbled dark-haired Michelle, who took time off from her publicity job to travel with MacArthur, "It's all very romantic."

"What more could a girl ask than to go off for an exciting jaunt with a great guy like Jim? I think, though, that I could have a great time with him no matter where we were."

Beamed MacArthur, "Michelle makes me feel fantastic. She's got such terrific vitality and a great sense of humor. She's so much fun to be with, and we both like doing the same sort of exciting things."

The twice-divorced actor said marriage isn't on the horizon but added, "'Serious' is a big word, but things seem to be heading in that direction."

MacArthur said he hasn't had a chance to introduce Michelle to his mother -- the great stage actress Helen hayes -- "but I'm sure they'll love each other."
